By accessing or using the ToolBoxAI Educational Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are accepting these terms on behalf of a school or district, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Our platform is designed for K-12 educational use. Student accounts must be created by a parent, guardian, or authorized school administrator. Users under 13 require verifiable parental consent in accordance with COPPA requirements. Each user must maintain accurate account information.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for educational purposes. This license does not include the right to: (a) modify or copy platform materials except as necessary for educational use; (b) use data mining or similar data gathering tools; (c) download or copy account information for another party's benefit.
Users agree to: maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials; notify us immediately of any unauthorized use; use the platform only for lawful educational purposes; respect the intellectual property rights of others; not attempt to circumvent security measures or access unauthorized areas.
Schools and districts retain ownership of all student educational records. Content created by students and teachers remains their property. ToolBoxAI retains ownership of the platform, including all software, designs, and proprietary content. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our services.
Users may not: share login credentials; attempt to access other users' accounts; upload malicious code or content; use the platform for non-educational commercial purposes; violate any applicable laws or regulations; engage in bullying, harassment, or inappropriate behavior.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolBoxAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by your institution in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
